A logo wall (or logo board) is a shared page or grid where businesses upload a logo, add a link and usually a description, and pay per tile — often as a subscription or in size tiers. The logo is artwork you supply. Square Town (square.pov.town) is not a logo wall: it is a favicon wall, where the icon is fetched from your URL, every cell is 1×1 for $1 one-time, and the wall is a game.

TL;DR: logo wall = upload + tiers/subscription, permanent, no game. Favicon wall = URL + $1, evictable, live, 3D.

The logo walls, as of August 2026

  1. SaaSBoard (saasboard.app, 2026) — 100×100 grid; a 1×1 tile is free, bigger blocks $10 per tile per month or $100 per tile per year via Stripe; drag to pick position and size; about 111 listings. The closest product analogue to Square Town. See Square Town vs SaaSBoard: $1 favicon square or free logo tile?.
  2. The Logo Wall (thelogowall.com, 2025) — $5 one-time ($10 featured) for a logo sticker with a profile page and, in its own pitch, a dofollow backlink; categories, "most viewed / most loved" rankings; about 107 logos. See Square Town vs The Logo Wall: $1 square or $5 logo with a profile?.
  3. The SaaS Wall (thesaaswall.com, 2026) — draw a pixel-art logo in its editor and buy 100-px blocks; bands from $0.05 to $1 per block as the wall fills; SaaS only; 123 blocks. See Square Town vs The SaaS Wall: favicon squares or pixel-art logos?.
  4. The Startup Board (2026) — $5 (10×10), $25 or $75 one-time for a logo on a 1M-pixel canvas; verified-founder badge; one cohort, then frozen.
  5. The Indie Wall — $249 one-time for a logo brick and project page; 39 projects.
  6. Pixel Spotlight (2026) — £500 per logo block for 12 months.

Logo wall vs favicon wall

Logo wall Favicon wall (Square Town)
Artwork You upload or draw a logo Your site's favicon, auto-fetched
Price Free 1×1 to $10/tile/month, or $5–$249 one-time $1 per square, one-time
Sizes Tiers; bigger costs more Every square is 1×1
Ownership Permanent (or while subscribed) Forever* — until evicted for double
Extras Profile pages, categories, backlink claims Kisses, Throne, live feed, 3D click towers, deed analytics
SEO pitch Some claim dofollow links None — clicks are counted redirects

What logo walls do better: free tiers (SaaSBoard), a profile page per listing (The Logo Wall), bigger placements. What they lack is any reason to return once the logo is up — no scarcity, no eviction, no decay. Background: What is pixel advertising?.

Example

A SaaS founder pays SaaSBoard $10 a month for a bigger block and drags it where she likes. On Square Town she pays $1 once, gets the favicon her site already ships in one cell, and knows a rival can take it for $2 — after which she can take it back for $4.

FAQ

What's the difference between a logo wall and a favicon wall?

A logo wall shows an uploaded logo, usually in size tiers or on a subscription. A favicon wall shows the favicon your site already serves, one fixed-size cell per site. Square Town is the latter.

Are logo walls free?

Some have free tiers — SaaSBoard's 1×1 tile is free as of August 2026 — with paid upsells for bigger tiles. Others are $5 to $249 one-time.

Some say so (The Logo Wall, The Startup Board, The Indie Wall). Square Town makes no such claim; its links are counted redirects.

Can I upload a logo to Square Town?

No. Square Town only uses your favicon — which is why there is nothing to design and why the Hall of Clowns exists.

Put your favicon on the wall

1 square = $1, one-time, no account. Paste a URL, pick a cell, done. Open the wall →
